Ii From Life-s Testament Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABA CCDC AAEA AAAA

The brain the blood the busy thewsA
That quickened in the primal oozeA
Support me yet till ice shall gripB
The heart of Earth no strength they ll loseA
-
They take my thought they laugh they runC
Ere megatherial moons begunC
And shall till they shall drop withinD
The shattering whirlwinds of the sunC
-
In subtle and essential waysA
Rich with innumerable daysA
To mould to charge to impel me stillE
Each through my broadest being playsA
-
They surged to this hour this transfuseA
The brain the blood the busy thewsA
That act of mine the ultimate starsA
Shall look on sprang in primal oozeA
