After The Storm Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDFGHGHII| The storm is done the lightning with its lust | A |
| To rend the unhallowed dome in ruin dire | B |
| The purple heaps from the rank chaos thrust | A |
| On sheets of fell and inauspicious fire | C |
| The thunder bellowing loud on every bound | D |
| The hissing bolt so tossed as to complete | E |
| All permutations of Satanic sound | D |
| The flood that opened heaven and ransomed it | F |
| Benign now is that beatific blue | G |
| The flame that fires the hill is now remote | H |
| From aught in evil Clemency anew | G |
| Crowns every leaf and sings in every throat | H |
| Shall then the rage of earth and heaven depart | I |
| And not the rancour of the unsensing heart | I |
