We zot bezide the leafy wallA
Upon the bench at evenfallA
While aunt led off our minds wrom ceareB
Wi' veairy teales I can't tell whereB
An' vound us woone among her stockC
O' feables o' the gert Year clockC
His feace wer blue's the zummer skiesD
An' wide's the zight o'looken eyesD
For hands a zun wi' glowen feaceD
An' pealer moon wi' swifter peaceD
Did wheel by stars o' twinklen lightE
By bright wall'd day an' dark treed nightE
An' down upon the high sky'd landF
A'reachen wide on either handF
Wer hill an' dell wi' win' sway'd treesD
An' lights a'zweepen over seasD
An' gleamen cliffs an' bright wall'd tow'rsD
Wi' sheades a marken on the hoursD
An' as the feace a rollen roundG
Brought comely sheapes along the groundG
The Spring did come in winsome steateG
Below a glowen rainbow geateG
An' fan wi' air a blowen weakH
Her glossy heair an' rwosy cheakH
As she did shed vrom open handG
The leapen zeed on vurrow'd landG
The while the rook wi' heasty flightG
A floaten in the glowen lightG
Did bear avore her glossy breastG
A stick to build her lofty nestG
An' strong limbed Tweil wi' steady handsD
Did guide along the vallow landsD
The heavy zull wi' bright shear'd beamI
Avore the weary oxen teamI
Wi' Spring a gone there come behindG
Sweet Zummer jay on ev'ry mindG
Wi' feace a beamen to beguileA
Our weary souls ov ev'ry tweilA
While birds did warble in the dellA
In softest air o' sweetest smellA
An' she so winsome feair did vwoldG
Her comely limbs in green an' gooldG
An' wear a rwosy wreath wi' studsD
O' berries green an' new born budsD
A fring'd in colours vier brightG
Wi' sheapes o'buttervlies in flightG
When Summer went the next ov allA
Did come the sheape o' brown feac'd FallA
A smile in a comely gownJ
O'green a shot wi' yollow brownJ
A border'd wi' a goolden stripeK
O'fringe a meade o' corn ears ripeK
An' up agean her comely zideG
Upon her rounded earm did rideG
A pretty basket all a twin'dG
O' slender stems wi' leaves an' rindG
A vill'd wi' fruit the trees did shedG
All ripe in purple goold an' redG
An' busy Leabor there did comeL
A zingen zongs ov harvest hwomeL
An' red ear'd dogs did briskly runM
Roun' cheervul Leisure wi' his gunM
Or stan' an' mark wi' stedvast zightG
The speckled pa'tridge rise in flightG
An' next agean to mild feac'd FallA
Did come peale Winter last ov allA
A benden down in thoughtvul moodG
Her head 'ithin a snow white hoodG
A deck'd wi' icy jewels brightG
An' cwold as twinklen stars o' nightG
An' there were weary Leabor slackH
O' veet to keep her vrozen trackH
A looken off wi' wistful eyesD
To reefs o'smoke that there did riseD
A melten to the peale feac'd zunM
Above the houses' lofty tunM
An' there the gert Year clock did gooH
By day an' night vor ever trueH
Wi' mighty wheels a rollen roundG
'Ithout a beat 'ithout a soundG
