The Pleasures Of Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDEFGFGHH

I do not care for kisses 'Tis a debtA
We paid for the first privilege of loveB
These are the rains of April which have wetA
Our fallow hearts and forced their germs to moveC
Now the green corn has sprouted Each new dayD
Brings better pleasures a more dear surpriseE
The blade the ear the harvest and our wayD
Leads through a region wealthy grown and wiseE
We now compare our fortunes Each his storeF
Displays to kindred eyes of garnered grainG
Two happy farmers learned in love's loreF
Who weigh and touch and argue and complainG
Dear endless argument Yet sometimes weH
Even as we argue kiss There Let it beH
