Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDEDFGHEII

She seemed to change as if with a change of the windA
And growing serious sighed Now look '' she saidB
You think me a mad woman and unkindA
But that is nonsense I am sound of headB
And not unsound of heart ah no not thereC
But you turn my head with your John the Baptist's faceD
I will not be made jealous so beware ''E
She looked entreatingly as if for graceD
And held me by the arm We are strangers bothF
Among these heavy Lyonnese By rightG
We so should hold together Tell me truthH
You never saw me did you till to night ''E
I said I came here not twelve hours agoI
Why should you think it '' No '' she broke in noI
