The semblance of that monstrous pound of flesh | E |
The knee that I had handled With it too | F |
The jet beads of the little woman's skirt | G |
Where I had held her left an impress new | F |
And touched my conscience to a deeper hurt | G |
I was ashamed of all with shame intense | H |
My youth my frailty and my innocence | I |
