A Woman-s Sonnets: X Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCBCBDEDEBB

Love ere I go forgive me each least wrongA
Each trouble I unwittingly have wroughtB
My heart my life my tears to thee belongA
Yet have I erred maybe through too fond thoughtB
One sin most certainly I need to atoneC
The sin of loving thee while yet unwooedB
Mine only was this wrong this guilt aloneC
The woman tempted thee from ways of goodB
Forgive me too ere thy dear pity ceaseD
That I denied thee vexed thee with delayE
Sought my soul's coward shelter not thy peaceD
And having won thee still awhile said nayE
Forgive me this that I too soon too lateB
Too wholly gave a love disconsolateB
