A New Pilgrimage: Sonnet I Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBBDBDBEBFGG

Care killed a cat and I have cares at homeA
Which vex me nightly and disturb my bedB
The things I love have all grown wearisomeC
The things that loved me are estranged or deadB
I have a house most fair but tenantedB
With shadows only gardens of tall treesD
Fenced in and made secure from every dreadB
But this one terror my soul's lack of easeD
I have much wealth of pleasure horse and houndB
Woods broad for sport and fields that are my ownE
With neighbours of good cheer to greet me roundB
And servants tried by whom my will is doneF
Here all things live at peace in this dear placeG
All but my pride which goes companionlessG
