The Violet Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF

The violet in her greenwood bowerA
Where birchen boughs with hazel mingleB
May boast itself the fairest flowerA
In glen or copse or forest dingleB
-
Though fair her gems of azure hueC
Beneath the dew drop's weight recliningD
I've seen an eye of lovelier blueC
More sweet through wat'ry lustre shiningD
-
The summer sun that dew shall dryE
Ere yet the day be past its morrowF
No longer in my false love's eyeE
Remain'd the tear of parting sorrowF
