Wind. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAA CDDCC EFFEE GHHGG IJJII KLLMM

Oh weird West Wind that comest from the seaA
Sad with the murmur of the weary wavesB
Wand'ring for ever through old ocean cavesB
Why troublest thou the hearts that list to theeA
With echoes of forgotten miseryA
-
The night is black with clouds that thou art bringingC
From the far waters of the stormy mainD
Welling their woes forth wearily in rainD
Betwixt us and the light their dark course wingingC
And dreary shadows o'er the spirit flingingC
-
Whence is thy power to smite the silent heartE
Till as of old the unseal'd waters runF
Whence is thy magic Oh thou unseen oneF
To make still sorrows from their slumbers startE
And play again unsought their bitter partE
-
We are all one with Nature every breezeG
Stealeth about the chambers of the soulH
Haunting their rest with sounds of joy or doleH
And every cloud that creepeth from the seasG
Traileth its shade o'er human sympathiesG
-
Blow blow thou weird wind till the clouds be rentI
And starlight glimmer through the riven seamsJ
Scatter their darkness like the mist of dreamsJ
Till all the fleeting spectre gloom be spentI
And the bright Future gem the firmamentI
-
Blow blow Night's Mene Tekel even nowK
Glows on her palace walls and she shall passL
Like the dim vapour from a burnish'd glassL
And no chill shadows o'er the soul shall goM
Borne by each weeping West Wind to and froM
