To My Dream-love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACC DEEDFG HIIJKK LMMLNN OPPOQQ OREOSS TNNTOO

Where art thou oh my Beautiful AfarA
I seek thee sadly till the day is doneB
And o'er the splendour of the setting sunB
Cold calm and silvery floats the evening starA
Where art thou Ah where art thou hid in lightC
That haunts me yet still wraps thee from my sightC
-
Not wholly ah not wholly still Love's eyesD
Trace thy dim beauty through the mystic veilE
Like the young moon that glimmers faint and paleE
At noontide through the sun web of the skiesD
But ah I ope mine arms and thou art goneF
And only Memory knows where thou hast shoneG
-
Night Night the tender the compassionateH
Binds thee gem like amid her raven hairI
I dream I see I feel that thou art thereI
And stand all weeping at Sleep's golden gateJ
Till the leaves open and the glory streamsK
Down through my tranc d soul in radiant dreamsK
-
Too short too short soon comes the chilly mornL
To shake from love's boughs all their sleep born bloomM
And wake my heart back to its bitter doomM
Sending me through the land down cast forlornL
Whilst thou my Beautiful art far awayN
Bearing the brightness from my joyless dayN
-
I stand and gaze across Earth's fairest seaO
And still the plashing of the restless mainP
Sounds like the clashing of a prisoner's chainP
That binds me oh my Beautiful from theeO
Oh sea bird flashing past on snow white wingQ
Bear my soul to her in thy wanderingQ
-
My heart is weary gazing o'er the seaO
O'er the long dreary lines that close the skyR
Through solemn sun sets ever mournfullyE
Gazing in vain my Beautiful for theeO
Hearing the sullen waves for evermoreS
Dashing around me on the lonely shoreS
-
But tides creep lazily about the sandsT
Washing frail landmarks Lethe like awayN
And though their records perish day by dayN
Still stand I ever with close clasp d handsT
Gazing far westward o'er the heaving seaO
Gazing in vain my Beautiful for theeO
