Hours Continuing Long Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDEFCGAHHIJKLAMAN OPAPA

HOURS continuing long sore and heavy heartedA
Hours of the dusk when I withdraw to a lonesome and unfrequentedA
spot seating myself leaning my face in my handsB
Hours sleepless deep in the night when I go forth speeding swiftlyC
the country roads or through the city streets or pacing milesD
and miles stifling plaintive criesE
Hours discouraged distracted for the one I cannot content myselfF
without soon I saw him content himself without meC
Hours when I am forgotten O weeks and months are passing but IG
believe I am never to forgetA
Sullen and suffering hours I am ashamed but it is useless I amH
what I amH
Hours of my torment I wonder if other men ever have the like out ofI
the like feelingsJ
Is there even one other like me distracted his friend his loverK
lost to himL
Is he too as I am now Does he still rise in the morning dejectedA
thinking who is lost to him and at night awaking think whoM
is lostA
Does he too harbor his friendship silent and endless harbor hisN
anguish and passionO
Does some stray reminder or the casual mention of a name bring theP
fit back upon him taciturn and deprestA
Does he see himself reflected in me In these hours does he see theP
face of his hours reflectedA
