Treasured Memories Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH EJKJ

The playful way thy wanton hairA
Was tossing in the windB
Thy girlish vain vexationC
Is treasured in my mindB
-
Held in my heart each sacred spotD
O'er which we roamed at willE
The rose that bloomed upon thy breastF
Blooms in my memory stillE
-
Still do I see thy sunny smileG
In sportive dimples tracedH
Like truant beams of morning lightI
By flitting fairies chasedH
-
Thy merry maiden laughter stillE
Is ringing in my earJ
As silver streams in sylvan shadesK
Make music sweet to hearJ
