To My Couch Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEDE FGHI

When the toils of the day are doneA
When its trials and cares are o'erB
When the forces of mind and body are runA
And the heart is soreC
-
How welcome to me is thy restD
The breath of approaching peaceE
Which soothes the soul with a prospect blestD
Of sweet releaseE
-
May my life be such that soF
At its even this comfort I'll haveG
For sleep is the symbol of death and thouH
Art the sign of the graveI
