To A Star Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCB DEFFE GCHHI JCKKC

Dreary and dismal and darkA
Is the night of life to meB
With nothing but clouds in the heaven aboveC
Cruelly hiding the star that I loveC
Whose radiance was rapture to seeB
-
While the blasts from the cold frozen NorthD
Are biting right in to my soulE
While the pitiless blasts from the bleak barren shoreF
Of the crystalline ocean incessantly roarF
And the tempests that sweep from the poleE
-
Oh the gloom of the dark dreary nightG
Concealing the star that I loveC
Oh how bitter the anguish bereft of its beamH
While the beings around me are such that I seemH
In a dungeon of demons to moveI
-
Oh when will the clouds clear awayJ
And brighten the heaven aboveC
Oh when to the starry lit realm of the skyK
In a golden car of thy beams shall I flyK
To live with the star that I loveC
