The Joy Of Creation Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFEF

How must have thrilled the great Creator's mindA
With radiant glad and satisfying joyB
Ever new self expressive forms to findA
In those six days of rapturous employB
How must He have delighted when He madeC
The stars and meted ocean with His spanD
And formed the insect and the tender bladeC
And fashioned after His own image manD
-
And unto man such joy in his degreeE
He hath appointed work of mind and handF
To mould in forms of useful symmetryE
Words hues wood iron stone at his commandF
To toil upon the navigable seaE
And ply his industry upon the landF
