Sonnet To ---- Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCADEFEFE

Journeying through a desert waste and drearA
Exhausted and disheartened by his wayB
So hard and parched unchanged from day to dayB
Saw the lone traveller an oasis nearA
In which a tender flower did appearA
Endued with beauty and with fragrance sweetC
Known not to scorching winds nor blighting heatC
And gazing on it it imparted cheerA
The traveller trod the weary sands of TimeD
Entering thy home delightful peace he foundE
Radiant with youthful beauty half divineF
On him thine angel face with sunbeams crownedE
Smiled and that artless beaming smile of thineF
Sped to his soul that with new life did boundE
