November Sunshine Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFEF

O affluent Sun unwilling to abateA
Thy bounteous hospitality benignB
Whenas we deemed the banquet o'er thy greatA
Gold flagon brims again with amber wineB
Whenas we thought t' have seen on plain and hillC
Thy euthanasia in October's hazeD
The blessing of thy light unstinted stillC
Irradiates the drear November daysD
-
Naught can discourage thee O thuriferE
Of gladness to the else benighted faceF
Of the misfeatured earth fit ministerE
Of Him whose love illumines every placeF
Who pours His mercy forth without demurE
Over the sins and sorrows of our raceF
