My Valentine Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEEE ECECFEFE GAGAHEHE

O Dorothy sweet DorothyA
You make my heart rejoiceB
Your presence is like ArcadyC
There's music in your voiceB
Heaven's purity is on your browD
Its light is in your eyneE
I love you and I ask you nowE
To be my ValentineE
-
Your face is like the lily inE
The morning's ruddy lightC
Your dimpled cheeks and tiny chinE
Are blessings to my sightC
Your lips are fairer than the roseF
And redder far than wineE
Your teeth are whiter than the snowsF
You'll be my ValentineE
-
You are not quite so old as IG
You've seen but summers threeA
And that's no doubt the reason whyG
You are not coy with meA
I'll come to you to morrowH
And on chocolates we'll dineE
And you'll have no thought of sorrowH
When you are my ValentineE
