Could I But Mention But Thy Name; Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDB EEFGGF EHIJJI

Could I but strike a sweeter noteA
Than all from virgin choirs that floatA
Or harps with cords of goldB
A note more soft and more sublimeC
Than she the sweetest of the NineD
Euterpe's strains unfoldB
-
The note which even now I hearE
For angels breathe it in my earE
But never dared to raiseF
Could I but mention but thy nameG
To whom I owe this sacred flameG
And love's inspired laysF
-
Ah then methinks when I should hearE
My Muse employ that word so dearH
When thoughts of thee inspireI
In sweeter strains my song should swellJ
Than e'er from harp of Orpheus fellJ
Or Phoebus' full stringed lyreI
