There bodes transfigured far aloof | I |
The veil that hides eternity | D |
With life for warp and death for woof | I |

We see the presage not with eyes | J |
But dimly with the shrinking soul | K |
Scarce guessing in this fateful guise | J |
The glory that enwraps the whole | K |

The light no flesh may apprehend | L |
Lent but to spirit eyes to give | M |
