Mariana In The North Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF

All her youth is gone her beautiful youth outwornA
Daughter of tarn and tor the moors that were once her homeB
No longer know her step on the upland tracks forlornA
Where she was wont to roamB
-
All her hounds are dead her beautiful hounds are deadC
That paced beside the hoofs of her high and nimble horseD
Or streaked in lean pursuit of the tawny hare that fledC
Out of the yellow gorseD
-
All her lovers have passed her beautiful lovers have passedE
The young and eager men that fought for her arrogant handF
And the only voice which endures to mourn for her at the lastE
Is the voice of the lonely landF
