We walked amongst the ruins famed in storyA
Of Rozel TowerB
And saw the boundless waters stretch in gloryA
And heave in powerB
-
O Ocean vast We heard thy song with wonderB
Whilst waves marked timeC
Appear O Truth thou sang'st with tone of thunderB
And shine sublimeC
-
The world's enslaved and hunted down by beaglesD
To despots soldE
Souls of deep thinkers soar like mighty eaglesD
The Right upholdE
-
Be born arise o'er the earth and wild waves boundingF
Peoples and sunsG
Let darkness vanish tocsins be resoundingF
And flash ye gunsG
-
And you who love no pomps of fog or glamourB
Who fear no shocksH
Brave foam and lightning hurricane and clamourB
Exiles the rocksH
