The Morning Of Life. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A B CDCD EFEF AGAG

Le voile du matinA
-
Bk V viii AprilB
-
-
The mist of the morning is torn by the peaksC
Old towers gleam white in the rayD
And already the glory so joyously seeksC
The lark that's saluting the dayD
-
Then smile away man at the heavens so fairE
Though were you swept hence in the nightF
From your dark lonely tomb the owlets would stareE
At the sun rising newly as brightF
-
But out of earth's trammels your soul would have flownA
Where glitters Eternity's streamG
And you shall have waked 'midst pure glories unknownA
As sunshine disperses a dreamG
