The Curse Of Noticing Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCC DDEE FFGG HHII

I wish I didn t see the cracksA
the silence stitched in whispered actsB
the tremor hiding in a smileC
the shadows trailing all the whileC
-
Each glance becomes a sharpened bladeD
each word a ghost I can t evadeD
the weight of knowing heavy deepE
a sleepless mind that will not sleepE
-
How simple it must be to driftF
to let the world remain a giftF
to walk through rooms without the acheG
of every tension hearts can t shakeG
-
Yet would I trade this haunted sightH
this curse that carves the day from nightH
For in the ruin truth is bornI
and from the wound my voice is swornI
