Bleeding Next To Sharks Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EECC

My mentor spoke with eyes so starkA
Guard your heart from those who markA
For showing wounds to ruthless eyesB
Is bleeding where the danger liesB
-
They smile they nod they seem to careC
But scent your pain upon the airC
And once they taste the fear you showD
They circle close you ll never knowD
-
So hide your ache let silence mendE
Not every soul deserves your endE
For sharks will feed where hearts are bareC
Protect your peace be wise bewareC
