After The Storm Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CD EFF GGHH IIJJ KKEE LLMM FFNN

Sometimes in life the colors fadeA
Joy and sorrow in quiet paradeA
Moments of laughter moments of painB
Sunshine hides and skies grow plainB
-
The heavens darken the light seems goneC
Hope feels distant life were hungD
-
All hope seems lost it drifts astrayE
Your heart may whisper No dawn will riseF
Yet morning waits beyond the skiesF
-
Raindrops fall like tears you weepG
Storms surround their shadows deepG
Floods of trials may drown your groundH
Problems circle fears aboundH
-
But every storm must lose its mightI
No endless rain no endless nightI
The clouds will break the winds will restJ
And peace will cradle a weary chestJ
-
So hold on tight though the night is longK
The soul is stronger the heart is strongK
Tomorrow s sun will pierce the grayE
And brighter paths will light your wayE
-
For pain is fleeting though sharp it seemsL
It fades like shadows in morning beamsL
Colors return the sky will singM
And hope will bloom in everythingM
-
So trust the turning of the skiesF
Through loss and tears new strength will riseF
Life s palette shifts but shades renewN
And brighter days will shine for youN
