Eclipsed Soul Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGGHH

Elceeded my discreetA
The life that once with joy did fleetA
Turned pale and sorrow s cloak I wearB
As silence whispers through the airB
Blood runs dry and heart beats lowC
The river of dreams forgets to flowC
Thou mind darketh in endless nightD
Where once did bloom the morning lightD
The light of hope now faint now goneE
Faded beneath the darkened dawnE
A soul adrift in weary seaF
Seeking what once was memoryF
Waryness becomes my breath my artG
A hollow echo of the heartG
Yet still within this silent deepH
A spark unseen refuses sleepH

Poet's note: A soul in a twilight world where the Sun of Hope has been devoured by a Dark Eclipse wanders across barren lands. Each person it meets is a reflection of its lost emotions — Joy, Faith, Courage — turned to stone or shadow. To restore the light, the soul must journey inward, confront its own darkness, and reignite the hidden ember within. (The eclipse lifts only when the soul accepts both its light and its shadow.)
