What a woman is like who can sayA
There is no living with or without oneB
Love bites like a flyC
Now an ear now an eyeC

When she's tender and kindD
She is like to my mindD
And Fanny was so I rememberE
She's like to Oh dearF
She's as good very nearF
As a ripe melting peach in SeptemberE
If she laugh and she chatG
Play joke and all thatG
And with smiles and good humor she meet meH
She's like a rich dishI
Of venison or fishI
That cries from the table Come eat meH
But she'll plague you and vex youJ
Distract and perplex youJ
False hearted and rangingK
Unsettled and changingK
What then do you think she is likeL
Like sand Like a rockM
Like a wheel Like a clockM
Ay a clock that is always at strikeL
Her head's like the island folks tell onN
Which nothing but monkeys can dwell onN
Her heart's like a lemon so niceO
She carves for each lover a sliceO
In truth she's to meH
Like the wind like the seaH
Whose raging will hearken to no manP
Like a mill like a pillQ
Like a flail like a whaleR
Like an ass like a glassS
Whose image is constant to no manP
Like a shower like a flowerE
Like a fly like a pieC
Like a pea like a fleaH
Like a thief like in briefT
She's like nothing on earth but a womanB
