What you had yesterday thatA
I have today and whatB
I have todayC
That must be yours tomorrowD
We have been madeE
Solely to perform on stageF
In well and woeD
Just thinkG
What if we were not bornH
We'd not feel theI
Gentle touch of motherJ
The sweetK
Fragrance of flowerJ
The appearanceL
Of the sunM
The delectable call of fountainM
And the tasteN
Of our paradisiacal earthO
But today we haveP
All together in compactQ
Still Time will comeR
To take all awayC
He needs no permission at allS
All possessions must beT
Like dust in the stormU
Our stone like body will remainV
Under the jolly skyW
On the motherlyT
Ground around the sweet smellsX
But how much painV
When we'll wish toY
Have them all to quenchZ
The heavy hearts but failA2
I can't hold I can't holdB2
More painful whenC2
Dear mother will say 'O my goldB2
Wake up Wake up 'D2
And I can't get up even ifE2
I understand her motherly voiceF2
