To Leven Water Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDD EEFFGHIJ

Pure stream in whose transparent waveA
My youthful limbs I wont to laveA
No torrents stain thy limpid sourceB
No rocks impede thy dimpling courseB
Devolving from thy parent lakeC
A charming maze thy waters makeC
By bowers of birch and groves of pineD
And edges flower'd with eglantineD
-
Still on thy banks so gaily greenE
May numerous herds and flocks be seenE
And lasses chanting o'er the pailF
And shepherds piping in the daleF
And ancient faith that knows no guileG
And industry embrown'd with toilH
And hearts resolved and hands preparedI
The blessings they enjoy to guardJ
