My youthful limbs I wont to lave | A |
No torrents stain thy limpid source | B |
No rocks impede thy dimpling course | B |
Devolving from thy parent lake | C |
A charming maze thy waters make | C |
By bowers of birch and groves of pine | D |
And edges flower'd with eglantine | D |

May numerous herds and flocks be seen | E |
And lasses chanting o'er the pail | F |
And shepherds piping in the dale | F |
And ancient faith that knows no guile | G |
And industry embrown'd with toil | H |
And hearts resolved and hands prepared | I |
