A Dirge For My Land Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBBAACDEFGHIJHJAKL MNONAEPQRSAKO AH

We are under a shining sunA
That brings no ease to buildB
We are under the falling rainC
Yet we have no water to buildB
We gathered sand to buildB
Yet scattered by erosionA
We mould our blocks but brokenA
Our land is drained by rainC
Yet we gathered my sonsD
Our labourers are full of laughterE
But we knocked ourselves in to weepF
Like a lamentation for the bereavedG
Our builders are not happyH
For their labor is not shownI
Should we talk about the cracking of our wallJ
That took away daughters of destinyH
Should we talk about the broken of our wallJ
That killed men of visionA
Sons of hero are no moreK
For their works are labor lostL
The labourers says within themselvesM
Either you build or notN
Our wages is grantedO
Either it breaks or notN
Our salary is certainA
The works of our builderE
Is Like that of water and basketP
They gather blocks to mouldQ
Yet all prevail against their imagesR
Where is the founder of this landS
Does our father see our present conditionA
I hope they have slept or no moreK
If not our building would have succeededO
