The Kaiser's "place In The Sun" Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHEHIJAJ K

The Kaiser is seeking a place in the SunA
But I fear he'll have to waitB
Till another eclipse has dulled its faceC
And the Allies have woven his fateB
For the spots on the Sun are all occupiedD
With a race descended from MarsE
So there's no place in the heavens for schrecklich WilhelmF
Not even among the StarsE
-
What boots it Wilhelm that your guns are bigG
And your Zeppelins soar by nightH
Since against you are leagued the earth and starsE
And you're sure to lose in the fightH
You have drenched the world with heroic bloodI
And stained the record of ManJ
But you'll presently get your place in the SunA
Yes the hottest since time beganJ
-
For T J MurphyK
