The Young Muleteers Of Grenada Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCEA EFEFGEGEEBEB

Oh the joys of our evening posadaA
Where resting at close of dayB
We young Muleteers of GrenadaA
Sit and sing the sunshine awayB
So merry that even the slumbersC
That round us hung seem goneD
Till the lute's soft drowsy numbersC
Again beguile them onE
Oh the joys etcA
-
Then as each to his loved sultanaE
In sleep still breathes the sighF
The name of some black eyed TiranaE
Escapes our lips as we lieF
Till with morning's rosy twinkleG
Again we're up and goneE
While the mule bell's drowsy tinkleG
Beguiles the rough way onE
Oh the joys of our merry posadaE
Where resting at close of dayB
We young Muleteers of GrenadaE
Thus sing the gay moments awayB
