Ne'er Talk Of Wisdom's Gloomy Schools. (mahratta Air.) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCE FGFGHGHG

Ne'er talk of Wisdom's gloomy schoolsA
Give me the sage who's ableB
To draw his moral thoughts and rulesA
From the study of the tableB
Who learns how lightly fleetly passC
This world and all that's in itD
From the bumper that but crowns his glassC
And is gone again next minuteE
-
The diamond sleeps within the mineF
The pearl beneath the waterG
While Truth more precious dwells in wineF
The grape's own rosy daughterG
And none can prize her charms like himH
Oh none like him obtain herG
Who thus can like Leander swimH
Thro' sparkling floods to gain herG
