To A Sleeping Child. Ii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBAACACDE

Thine eyelids slept so beauteously I deem'dA
No eyes could wake so beautiful as theyB
Thy rosy cheeks in such still slumbers layB
I loved their peacefulness nor ever dream'dA
Of dimples for those parted lips so seem'dA
I never thought a smile could sweetlier playB
Nor that so graceful life could chase awayB
Thy graceful death till those blue eyes upbeam'dA
Now slumber lies in dimpled eddies drown'dA
And roses bloom more rosily for joyC
And odorous silence ripens into soundA
And fingers move to sound All beauteous boyC
How thou dost waken into smiles and proveD
If not more lovely thou art more like LoveE
