Still Glides The Gentle Streamlet On Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDEFGFGHIHI

Still glides the gentle streamlet onA
With shifting current new and strangeB
The water that was here is goneC
But those green shadows do not changeB
Serene or ruffled by the stormD
On present waves as on the pastE
The mirrored grave retains its formD
The self same trees their semblance castE
The hue each fleeting globule wearsF
That drop bequeaths it to the nextG
One picture still the surface bearsF
To illustrate the murmured textG
So love however time may flowH
Fresh hours pursuing those that fleeI
One constant image still shall showH
My tide of life is true to theeI
