Sonnet. Silence Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDCEFF

There is a silence where hath been no soundA
There is a silence where no sound may beB
In the cold grave under the deep deep seaB
Or in wide desert where no life is foundA
Which hath been mute and still must sleep profoundA
No voice is hush'd no life treads silentlyB
But clouds and cloudy shadows wander freeB
That never spoke over the idle groundA
But in green ruins in the desolate wallsC
Of antique palaces where Man hath beenD
Though the dun fox or wild hy na callsC
And owls that flit continually betweenE
Shriek to the echo and the low winds moanF
There the true Silence is self conscious and aloneF
