She's Up And Gone, The Graceless Girl Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGFHIJIKLMLNOCO PIQI

She's up and gone the graceless girlA
And robb'd my failing yearsB
My blood before was thin and coldC
But now 'tis turn'd to tearsD
My shadow falls upon my graveE
So near the brink I standF
She might have stay'd a little yetG
And led me by the handF
Aye call her on the barren moorH
And call her on the hillI
'Tis nothing but the heron's cryJ
And plover's answer shrillI
My child is flown on wilder wingsK
Than they have ever spreadL
And I may even walk a wasteM
That widen'd when she fledL
Full many a thankless child has beenN
But never one like mineO
Her meat was served on plates of goldC
Her drink was rosy wineO
But now she'll share the robin's foodP
And sup the common rillI
Before her feet will turn againQ
To meet her father's willI
