In our love of many a yearA
And date it very far awayB
On a bright clear summer dayB
When the heart was like a sunC
To itself and falsehood noneC
And the rosy lips a partD
Of the very loving heartD
And the shining of the eyeE
But a sign to know it byE
When my faults were all forgivenC
And my life deserved of HeavenC
Dearest let us reckon soF
And love for all that long agoF
Each absence count a year completeG
And keep a birthday when we meetG
