Hymn To The Sun Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDBEFGGFHIJJIKLLLL MNOON

Giver of glowing lightA
Though but a god of other daysB
The kings and sagesC
Of wiser agesD
Still live and gladden in thy genial raysB
King of the tuneful lyreE
Still poets' hymns to thee belongF
Though lips are coldG
Whereon of oldG
Thy beams all turn'd to worshipping and songF
Lord of the dreadful bowH
None triumph now for Python's deathI
But thou dost saveJ
From hungry graveJ
The life that hangs upon a summer breathI
Father of rosy dayK
No more thy clouds of incense riseL
But waking flow'rsL
At morning hoursL
Give out their sweets to meet thee in the skiesL
God of the Delphic fameM
No more thou listenest to hymns sublimeN
But they will leaveO
On winds at eveO
A solemn echo to the end of timeN
