To Miss - - Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH

In tracing here these lines my friendA
Which spring from friendly heartB
I here record an earnest wishC
For thee before we partB
-
May health and happiness sereneD
Long long with thee abideE
May youthful joys no sorrow bringF
Nor future woes betideE
-
And when thy youthful beauty leavesG
And youthful thoughts thy breastH
May thou in calm old age still liveI
In happiness and restH
