Statio Prima Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCADEEDFFBGHHIIGJKK LMMNNLOPLAA

Why do I make so much of Aber FallA
Four years agoB
My little boy was with me hereC
That's allA
He died next yearD
He died just seven years oldE
A very gentle child yet boldE
Having no fearD
You have seen suchF
They are not muchF
No noB
And yet he was a very righteous childG
Stood up for what was rightH
Intolerant of wrong Pure azure lightH
Was cisterned in his eyesI
We thought him wiseI
Beyond his years so sweet and mildG
But strongJ
For justice doing what he couldK
Poor little soul to make all children goodK
I almost think and yet I am to blameL
He was a different child from othersM
He had three sisters and two brothersM
He seemed a little kingN
Among the children ah I 'tis a common thingN
Parents are all the sameL
You've seen those kings yes yesO
Of course and yet the righteousnessP
The Never mind he cameL
With me to Aber FallA
That's all that's allA
