Youth Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBBB CDCDDBB

What do they know of youth who still are youngA
They but the singers of a golden songB
Who may not guess its worth or wonder flungA
Like largesse to the throngB
We only young no longer old so longB
Before its harmonies stand marvellingB
Oh we who listen never they who singB
-
Not for itself is beauty but for usC
Who gaze upon it with all reverent eyesD
And youth which sheds its glory luminousC
Gives ever in this wiseD
Itself the joy it may not realiseD
Only we know who linger overlongB
Youth that is made of beauty and of songB
