Transients Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCE FBGB

They are ashamed who leave so soonA
The Inn of Grief who thought to stayB
Through many a faithful sun and moonA
Yet tarry but a dayB
-
Shame faced I watch them pay the scoreC
Then straight with eager footsteps pressD
Where waits beyond its rose wreathed doorC
The Inn of HappinessE
-
I wish I did not know that hereF
Here too where they have dreamed to stayB
So many and many a golden yearG
They lodge but for a dayB
