The New Spring Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGHII

The long grief left her old and thenA
Came love and made her young againA
As though some newer gentler SpringB
Should start dead roses blossomingB
Old roses that have lain full longC
In some forgotten book of songC
Brought from their darkness to be oneD
With lilting winds and rain and sunD
And as they too might bring awayE
From that dim volume where they layE
Some lyric hint some song's perfumeF
To add its beauty to their bloomF
So love awakes her heart that liesG
Shrouded in fragrant memoriesH
And bids it bloom again and wakeI
Sweeter for that old sorrow's sakeI
