The Wind. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF

The lithe wind races and singsA
Over the grasses and wheatB
See the emerald floor as it springsA
To the touch of invisible feetB
-
Ah later the fir and the pineC
Shall stoop to its weightier treadD
As it tramps the thundering brineC
Till it shudders and whitens in dreadD
-
Breath of man a glass of thine ownE
Is the wind on the land on the seaF
Joy of life at thy touch full grownE
Destruction and death maybeF
