When Am Gone Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFG HIEEJKLMMN OMMMPQ

A time will come when you will lay me down into the casketA
Dip me six feet undergroundB
Cover me in a heap of soilC
As you place a wooden cross and a bouquet of flowers on top of itD
That day you will fall on your kneesE
Shade tears of both pain and of fearF
Asking why I have gone to soonG
-
My empty soul will always circle around youH
As it remembers the happy moments we used to haveI
But then they will be only but memoriesE
Which are left to be told like storiesE
I will always remember those daysJ
We used to sit by the bayK
As we see the sun setsL
Our arms wrapped around each other tightlyM
Our lips caressing each other lightlyM
As we whisper romantic words through our earsN
-
I will still keep the promiseO
So don't worryM
I will be very sorryM
for departing so earlyM
I guess that's the other side of the coinP
The painful reality of lifeQ
