Suddenly there s time enough just for me and you | A |
Suddenly it s as if the world has stopped for now | B |
But then I stop and realize that things have changed and how | B |

Lives are lost hearts are broke tears seem endless too | A |
Cloudless days are not enough to see this drama through | A |
Gathered round our sets at night we see the totals grow | C |
Watching tales of gallant folk whose lives have been laid low | C |

Masked and gloved our heros work to stem the tide of loss | D |
People dying all too soon as if a coin were tossed | E |
In our sadness in our grief we care for those at hand | F |
Helping neighbors giving now support throughout the land | F |

Time will come when all will be as normal as before | G |
But we are changed forever now For now we know the score | G |
For those we ve lost for them we cry but work to find a cure | H |
For others that come after us their lives will be assured | I |

Stay home be safe and isolate Protect the NHS | D |
