| I was broken inside anguished within me did bind | H |
| I watched my hands bleed damage you have done | G |
| I was one with the smell on your petal | I |

| You were beautiful oh don't get me wrong and you still are | J |
| Your colour resembling that precious smile | K |
| You couldn't have been that strong to break my heart | L |
| Oh well perhaps that's what you get for going an extra mile | K |

| I missed a spot when we first met | A |
| You were perfect but touched with a bit of a wreck | M |
| How could I've not seen such a marvelous mess | N |

| Longing for love thought in you I'd find | H |

Poet's note: This poem is a very personal poem , someone whom I used to be close with , like the thorns on a rose pricked my heart. People do change , but we learn to accept and embrace the after math that comes with it.
